Donnalyn Bartolome – Kakaibabe

Donnalyn Jereos Bartolome (born July 9, 1996) is a Filipina YouTube video blogger as well as a singer, songwriter, rapper and actress.

Bartolome started posting videos on YouTube when she was 14 years old after moving to different countries as a part of a Navy family. Originally the videos were intended for her friends she leaves behind only. But eventually she began to build a following. She posted everything from makeup tutorials to dance and song covers. She eventually moved to Facebook where her fame really began to grow. She has 9 Million Followers on Facebook, 3.5 Million on instagram and 1.3 Million on Twitter as of November 2020.

At the age of 16, one of the leading record labels in the country, Viva Records and Flipmusic signs her to release self-written original tracks and eventually became an official Viva Artist with a movie contract with one of the biggest movie production house Viva Entertainment.

She shot to fame after the release of her single “Kakaibabe”, a track on the Diary ng Panget soundtrack, and “LM4M”, a song produced by Jon Bonus. She released the album Happy Break Up with lead single “Happy Break Up”. KakaiBabe and Happy Break Up held the title of most viewed music video of a solo female singer from Viva Records from July 2014 until December 2019.

She did cameos as herself in Vice Ganda’s Praybeyt Benjamin 2 and Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy. It was in 2018 when she starred in Cry No Fear with Ella Cruz, a house break-in thriller as the young actress’ debut film.
