Regine Velasquez – R2k

R2K is Velasquez’ third all-covers album after Tagala Talaga and Retro. She also featured actor Gabby Eigenmann and MTV Pilipinas VJ KC Montero to do a rap adlib for her song “For the Love of You”.[8] It also marked the first time a Philippine artist released an album with a VCD. The VCD contains six music videos done by Velasquez with director Louie Ignacio including “One Love” which features actors Antoinette Taus and Dingdong Dantes. It is also the first time in the Philippines that a limited edition 48-page colored magazine was released together with the album.

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid – Fantasy

Fantasy is the 15th studio album by Filipino singer Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. The album was released on November 21, 2010 by Universal Records, which was her second full-length studio album under Universal after Low Key in 2008.[1] The two-disc album contains both pop and mid-tempo sounds, as well as some softer and more contemporary melodies. The first disc contains new Original Pilipino Music (OPM) materials while the second disc contains cover songs from various artists. This two-disc album also consists of two packaging editions, the “colored one” and the “black & white edition”, with each containing collector’s item photo cards and the CDs.[2] The photos used were taken by photographer Mark Nicdao. The album debuted at number one spot and was certified Gold Award after two weeks upon released. Fantasy was nominated at the 24th Philippine Awit Awards for Album of the Year and Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist for the song You Don’t Know

Regine Velasquez – Covers Vol. 1

Covers (also known as Covers, Vol. 1) is the twelfth studio album by Filipino singer Regine Velasquez, released in the Philippines on October 20, 2004 by Viva Records. It is a cover album that consists of love songs, originally recorded by male OPM acts from the 80’s and 90’s. It turned Platinum three days after its official release.

The album was released on digital download through iTunes on August 1, 2004, with a slightly different cover. To date, the album has sold over 160,000 copies in the country, certified Quadruple Platinum by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry.

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid – R3.0

Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez (born April 22, 1970) is a Filipino singer, actor, and record producer who came to prominence after winning the 1984 Ang Bagong Kampeon and the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest. Velasquez signed with OctoArts International under the name Chona in 1986 and released the single “Love Me Again”, which was commercially unsuccessful. After adopting the stage name Regine Velasquez, she signed a recording contract with VIVA Records in 1987 and released her eponymous debut album containing the singles “Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang” and “Urong Sulong”.
